Precious Early Years Childcare is looking for an Early Childhood Educator (Infant and Toddler) to work with us at our facility located at 818 20 th Street, New Westminster, BC. We are looking for someone who is a team player, able to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner, and most importantly, understand children’s growth and development and enjoying working with them. Title: Early Childhood Educator (Infant and Toddler) Opening: 2 position (Permanent, Full-time) Wage: CAD 22.50 – CAD 24.00 per hour (ECE wage enhancement will be paid separately.) Hours of Work: At least 30 hours per week Benefit: 4% of each pay, professional workshops paid by the center Location: 818 20 th Street, New Westminster, BC V3M 4W8 Requirements: · Early Childhood Education Certificate from BC ECE Registry is required · Infant and Toddler Educator(ITE) Certificate is required · College certificate or diploma · Related work experience an asset Main Duties: · Maintain a friendly relationship with children and their parents · Build feelings of security and trust in children, and monitor their daily activities · Talk, sing, and read to children · Observe children for any signs of emotional problems and learning disabilities · Share information regarding the learning progress of children with parents and other educators · Maintain a safe and clean environment, and assist in regular housekeeping duties How to Apply Please send your resume to info@preciousearlyyears.ca
