We are currently looking for someone to join our team as Early Childhood Educator who will have responsibility for the following: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Design and deliver daily programs that encourage children’s overall growth — physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. 2. Lead engaging activities such as storytelling, singing, creative arts, dramatic play, outdoor exploration, and group games. 3. Create and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment that supports children’s health and well-being. 4. Observe and document children’s interests, abilities, and progress, and share updates with parents and team members. 5. Identify and support children with potential learning or behavioral challenges, and prepare developmental reports as needed. 6. Encourage healthy daily habits such as proper eating, hygiene, dressing, and toileting routines. 7. Build positive and collaborative relationships with parents, co-workers, and community partners. 8. Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with co-workers. Employment Requirements 1. Completion of a college diploma (two to four years) in Early Childhood Education or a bachelor’s degree in Child Development is required. 2. Candidates must hold, or be eligible to obtain, provincial certification or licence to practise as an Early Childhood Educator. 3. In most provinces and territories, including Ontario and British Columbia, licensing or certification is a mandatory requirement for employment in this position. 4. 2 Years of work experience is an asset 5. Criminal record check clearance 6. Valid first aid and CPR certificate is an asset 7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills 8. Knowledge of child development 9. Ability to create inclusive, play-based learning environments Renumeration Package 1. Salary is $36.60/Hour 2. Working hours per week is 35-40 3.
