Job Description Job Title: Family physician Term of Employment: Permanent/ Full Time/ 40 hours per week Compensation: $250,000- $450,000. Overtime after 40 hours per week Working Conditions: Job involves Morning, Day, Evening, weekends, Overtime and holiday work. Languages: English Education: Degree in Medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry Experience: Experience an asset Work Setting: Rural Area, Private practice, Medical clinic Credentials: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) Specific Skills: Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals, Help patients develop healthy habits, break old habits and reshape their approach to wellness, Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health, Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases, Advise patients on health care, Be the patient advocate, Provide acute care management, Provide emergency care, Examine patients’ health condition to identify diseases and injuries, Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment, Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, Perform and assist in routine surgery, Participate in health care policy and planning, Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities, Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care, Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Work under pressure, Attention to detail How to apply By email: southdalemedicalcentre@gmail.com By mail: 430 Main Street Ile Des Chenes , Manitoba R0A 0T0 Intended job posting audience Anyone who can legally work in Canada can apply for this job.
