Job Title: Carpenter Employer: Hazoor Builders and Contractors Ltd. Job details • Location 11731 105 Street suite 201Grande Prairie, ABT8V 8L1 • Work location on site • Salary $36.00 hourly / 30 to 35 hours per week • Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time • Starts as soon as possible • Vacancies: 1 vacancy Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience:7 months to less than 1 year On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Tasks • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware • Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites • Instruct apprentices • Supervise other workers • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Who can apply for this job?
