Job Description

• Lead and coordinate caulking crews on commercial and residential construction projects, including assigning daily tasks and monitoring work progress; • Plan daily work activities and coordinate the required materials, tools, and equipment; • Communicate with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and clients regarding project requirements, schedules, and site conditions; • Perform hands-on caulking and sealant work on interior and exterior surfaces, including joints, seams, gaps, cracks, concrete, windows, doors, and other building surfaces; • Remove old or deteriorated caulking and prepare, clean, and repair surfaces as necessary before applying new caulking and sealants; • Apply appropriate caulking and sealants to prevent water penetration, air leakage, cracking, and damage to building surfaces; • Inspect completed work and identify and correct deficiencies to ensure caulking meets project specifications and quality standards; • Assist and provide direction to crew members with caulking and related construction activities as required; • Ensure and train crew members to follow company policies, job-site requirements, and applicable health and safety procedures; • Maintain caulking tools and equipment and ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe; and • Perform other caulking and construction-related duties as required. Job and Skill Requirements: • 2 years experience as a caulker in residential and commercial settings. • Certificates: Aerial lift and aerial work platform certification, WHMIS, Boom truck crane operator trade certification, working at heights training, driver’s license.
