Bluetail Sushi & Bistro in Kelowna, BC is looking for a competent Restaurant Manager to join our team. Job Position: Restaurant Manager Positions Available: 1 Hourly Wage: C$36.70 ~C$37.00 Working Hours: 30~40 hours per week Vacation: 10 business days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary for vacation pay Job Type: Permanent, full-time Language of Work: English Work Location: Kelowna, BC Main Job Duties: - Oversee daily shift operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency, customer service excellence and the restaurant’s profits - Implement company policies and operational procedures - Analyze budget and monitor sales performance, revenues and expenses - Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget - Supervise, train and support the teams, maintaining strong teamwork - Recruit, schedule, and evaluate staff - Track and monitor workflow and staff performance - Monitor stock levels, place supply orders, and reduce waste - Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies - Address any customer complaints and feedback professionally - Ensure staff compliance with service standards, policies, and health and safety regulations Qualifications: - Completion of secondary school is required. - A minimum of 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including a minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role is required. - A valid Serving-it-Right certificate is required. - Proficiency in English is required. - Personal Suitability: Leadership, Client focus, Efficient interpersonal communication skills, Time management, Organized, Reliability and Attention to detail How to apply: Please send your resume if you are interested. - By email: bluetail.recruit@gmail.com - By mail: 1675 Commerce Ave., Suite 102, Kelowna, BC V1X 8A9 Bluetail Sushi & Bistro (Bluetail Restaurant Ltd.) #102-1675 Commerce Ave., Kelowna, BC V1X 8A9
