Evergreen Chiropractic Inc. is looking for a Physiotherapist to join our team. Title: Physiotherapist Employer: Evergreen Chiropractic Inc. Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time) Wage: CAD 47.00 ~ CAD 49.00 per hour Working Hours: At least 30 hours per week Benefit: 4% of vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation Location: 100C-504 Cottonwood Avenue, Coquitlam, BC V3J 2R5 Requirements: - Candidates are required to hold a master’s degree in physiotherapy and must have completed a formal period of supervised practical training. - Applicants must be registered or licensed with the appropriate regulatory body. - Successfully passing a physiotherapist competency examination is a prerequisite. Main Duties: - Evaluate physical abilities using functional tests and other procedures to establish a physiotherapy diagnosis. - Collaborate with patients to set specific treatment goals based on their clinical diagnoses. - Design and execute treatment plans involving exercise, manual therapy, massage, education, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, and other modalities. - Systematically monitor the efficacy of treatment plans and implement clinical modifications as required to optimize therapeutic outcomes. - Provide expert guidance on exercise protocols and self-management strategies to be executed at home to enhance or sustain treatment gains. - Liaise with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding client needs, progress, and concerns. - Maintain accurate clinical and statistical records and consult with other healthcare staff. - Develop and lead health promotion programs for clients, staff, and the local community. - Conduct physiotherapy research and provide consulting or educational services as required.
