Benefits: Health Care Plan, Vision Care benefits, Dental Plan, Free parking available Financial benefits: Commission License Requirement: Provincial or territorial license Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Attention to detail and Fast Paced Environment Personal Suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Team Player, Flexibility, Organized, and Reliability Specific Skills • Sell and service general insurance policies, including auto, travel, property, and other general insurance products, in accordance with British Columbia regulatory requirements. • Assess client insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options • Provide quotations, policy explanations, and comparisons to clients • Complete insurance applications, endorsements, renewals, and policy changes • Maintain accurate client records and documentation in Broker Management systems • Explain policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and premiums clearly to clients • Comply with Insurance Council of British Columbia (ICBC / ICBC Autoplan where applicable) and insurer guidelines • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through ongoing service and follow-ups • Process premium payments, policy cancellations, and reinstatements • Assist clients with claims reporting and liaise with insurers as required • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within ethical and regulatory standards • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a timely manner • Stay updated with insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory changes Insurance How to apply: By email: navb@goldkeyinsurance.ca Or By mail: Unit 5-8430 128 Street, Surrey, BC, V3W 4G3 Intended job posting audience Anyone who can legally work in Canada can apply for this job.
