Job Description: Position: Drywall Taper Salary: $36.00/ hour Vacancies: 3 Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full-time Full time: 40 hours/ week Start date: As soon as possible Employment conditions: Evening, Day, Employer: Alpha Taping & Drywall Ltd Business Address: 8752 50 Avenue NW Edmonton, AB T6E 5K8 Job Requirements: Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years On the road: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee. Work setting: Various locations Tasks: Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, Manual dexterity Experience and specialization Surface preparation experience: Drywall taping/patching How to apply: By email: alphataping_jobs@outlook.com
