Job Description
Urban Utilities Contractors Inc. located in Brampton, Ontario is looking for full-time concrete finishers with a minimum of 3-5 years experience. Duties include: checking formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade, filling hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, operating power vibrators to compact concrete, leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures; applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces; waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces; repairing, resurfacing and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures. $49.44 per hour (as per collective agreement).
