Job Description: Position: Carpenter Salary: $36.00 /hour Vacancies: 3 Terms of employment: Permanent employment Full time: 40 hours / week Start date: As soon as possible Employment conditions: Day Employer: West Wood Framing Ltd Business Address: 38 Voleta Court, Spruce Grove, AB T7X 0J8 Job Requirements: Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 3 year to less than 5 years Work setting: Various locations Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots Tasks: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements; Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools; Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials; Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems; Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware; Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Physically demanding How to apply: By email: jobs.westwoodframing@yahoo.com
