Location: Mississauga, ON L4W 5A8 Work location: On site Salar: 36.00 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent employment/Full time Early morning, Evening, Shift, Morning, Day, Weekend Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Financial benefits Vacancies: 1 Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment: Outdoors At heights Dangerous Underground Responsibilities/Tasks: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment Read blueprints to determine work requirements Complete and maintain test and service reports Determine nature, cause and location of trouble Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets Determine work assignments Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers Additional information: Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Willing to travel Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Attention to detail Handling heavy loads Combination of sitting, standing, walking Physically demanding Personal suitability: Organized, Reliability, Client focus, Team player Benefits: Gasoline paid You can apply if you are: a Canadian citizen a permanent resident of Canada a temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.
