Evergreen Chiropractic Langley Inc. is looking for a Registered Massage Therapist to join our team. Title: Registered Massage Therapist Employer: Evergreen Chiropractic Langley Inc. Opening: 2 positions (Permanent, Full-time) Wage: CAD 50.00 per hour Working Hours: at least 30 hours per week Benefit: 4% of vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation Location: B100-20161 86 Avenue, Langley, BC V2Y 2C1 Requirements: • Completion of massage therapy program from an accredited school • Registration with College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia • At least 3 years of previous work experience as an RMT is required Main Duties: • Check the client's medical history, diet and lifestyle • Identify the client's reasons for massage therapy • Assess clients using range-of-motion and muscle tests • Explain procedures, risks and benefits of massage therapy • Plan a course of treatment • Apply massage techniques, relaxation techniques to areas of the body • Give advice to clients about home care and rehabilitative exercises • Maintain records of treatments applied • May refer clients to other medical professionals
