NOW HIRING: FLAT ROOFERS Terms of Employment: - Permanent, full-time - Hourly rate: $37.00 to $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience - Health benefits through a group health plan Hours of Work: - Between 32 and 44 hours per week - Flexibility is an asset Requirements: - 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a commercial flat roofer - Able to handle weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) - Must be bondable - Clean driving record check (abstract) - Safety certificates (training provided): Working at Heights training, WHMIS Certificate, Fall Arrest Protection Training Course - Steel-toed safety boots Language of Work: - English Duties: - Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel - Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions - Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements - Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems - Repair roofing systems - Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level - Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools - Install sheet metal flashings - Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms Area of Specialization: - Conventional and inverted built-up system - Modified roofing system - Rigid pre-formed roofing system - Single-ply sheet membrane roofing system Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: - Fast-paced environment - Physically demanding Employer: Delta Roofing Inc.?1000 Martin Grove Rd?Etobicoke, ON M9W 4V8 Location of Work: Various job sites GTA/Southwestern Ontario Work Site Environment: - At heights - Outdoors How to Apply Through this web site or on our careers section of the web site: https://deltaroofing.ca/careers/
