Job Description
1352866 Ontario Inc. o/a TKB Custom Millwork has openings for FINISH CARPENTERS We are a busy millwork shop specializing in custom renovations for kitchens and bathrooms and in commercial kitchen installations with projects across Canada. Requirements: - Between 3 to 5 years of experience as a finish carpenter - Experience with both residential and commercial projects is an asset - Able to work independently with limited supervision - Valid driver’s license - Steel-toed boots - Willing to travel across Canada regularly, some overnight stays depending on location - Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate (training available) Work Conditions: - combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling with tight deadlines Duties: - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings or sketches to determine work requirements - Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood and wood products to build and install custom cabinetry. - Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, custom cabinetry and other finished wood products like crown mouldings, trim, doors, shelving, and hardware. - Operate hand and power tools.
