Title: Kitchen Manager Vacancies: 1 Job start date: As soon as possible Wage: $37.00/ Hour Hours: 30 TO 40 hours per Week Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time, Evening, Day, Weekend Employer: Pepperwood Bistro Brewery & Catering Business and Job location: G01-1455 Lakeshore Rd, Burlington, ON, L7S 2J1 Languages: - English Education: - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience: - 2 years to less than 3 years On site: - Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting: - Restaurant Tasks: - Establish methods to meet work schedules - Requisition food and kitchen supplies - Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food - Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures - Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation - Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards - Prepare budget and cost estimates - Address customers' complaints or concerns - Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage - Prepare and submit reports - Prepare food order summaries for chef - Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres - Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys - Establish work schedules Supervision: - 5-10 people Additional information: Work conditions and physical capabilities: - Fast-paced environment - Work under pressure - Tight deadlines - Attention to detail Personal suitability: - Client focus - Flexibility - Team player How to apply: By email: adminpepperwoodbistro@gmail.com By mail: G01-1455 Lakeshore Rd Burlington, ON L7S 2J1
