Title: Metal Fabricator Vacancies: 1 Job start date: As soon as possible Wage: $37.50/ Hour Hours: 30 TO 40 hours per Week Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time Employer: Doormax Industries Inc. Business and Job location: 9751 54 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T6E 5J4 Languages: - English Education: - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience: - 2 years to less than 3 years On site: - Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Tasks: - Determine materials required - Interpret engineering drawings and others’ instructions to plan methods and sequences of operation - Lay out reference points and patterns - Plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently - Study engineering drawings and blueprints - Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements - Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures - Construct patterns and templates - Install fabricated components in final product Experience and specialization: -Equipment and machinery experience: - Cutting torches - Drills - Grinder Area of specialization: - Structural metal or steel Additional information: Work conditions and physical capabilities: - Physically demanding - Manual dexterity - Attention to detail Personal suitability: - Efficient interpersonal skills - Organized - Reliability - Team player How to apply: By email: fred@doormax.ca By mail: 9751 54 Ave NW Edmonton, AB T6E 5J4
