Title: Insulator (NOC- 72321) Employer: GA Drywall & Taping Ltd. Employer Business Address: 5708 54 Street NW, suite 105, Edmonton, AB, T6B 3G1 Salary: $40.00 hourly / 30-40 hours per week Vacancies: 2 positions Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time Start date: As soon as possible Job requirements Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work Setting: Construction Responsibilities Tasks: • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements • Select type of insulation required • Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools • Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods • Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials • Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers • Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities • Bending, crouching, kneeling Who can apply for this job?
