Plumber Red Seal Drainage & Plumbing Inc. O/A Red Seal Plumbing Permanent Full-time Employment $40.00 hourly for 30 to 50 hours per week Early morning, evening, morning, on call, day, weekend, overtime required Starts as soon as possible Number of vacancies: • 2 Company Location: • 2790 East 21st Ave, Vancouver, BCV5M 2W2 Languages: • English Education: • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: • 3 years to less than 5 years . Work site environment: • Confined spaces • Wet/damp Work setting: • Various locations • Residential • Construction site Responsibilities and Tasks: • Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems • Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems • Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing • Estimate costs and materials • Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size Supervision: • 1 to 2 people Security and safety: • Criminal record check • Driving record check (abstract) • Drug test Transportation/travel information: • Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities: • Physically demanding • Bending, crouching, kneeling • Hand-eye co-ordination • Work under pressure Own tools/equipment: • Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability: • Accurate • Client focus • Efficient interpersonal skills • Excellent oral communication • Team player Who can apply for this job?
