Drywall Installer Salary: $37.50/ hour Vacancies: 5 Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full-time Full time: 40 hours/ week Start date: As soon as possible Employment conditions: Day Employer: Adeer Contracting Ltd Business Address and Job location: 1 Galloway Street Sherwood Park, AB T8A 4X6 Job Requirements: Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee. Work setting: Various locations Tasks: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster Clean and prepare surfaces Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling Hand-eye co-ordination Handling heavy loads Repetitive tasks How to apply: By email: eyman@magdrywall.com
