- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers who process, package, test and grade food and beverage products - Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality - Oversee packaging lines for efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to reduce downtime. - Requisition materials and supplies - Train staff in job duties, standard operating procedures, safety procedures, good manufacturing practices and company policy - Coordinate with production, maintenance, and inventory departments to maintain positive workflow across operations. - Prepare production and other reports. - Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions - Managing food production in accordance with CFIA and SFCR (HACCP) coordinators identify, evaluate, control and prevent hazards at all stages of the food production process. - Understanding and educating employees on formulation on products such as, but not limited to: south-east Asian Momo wrappers, Italian pasta noodles, various forms of Asian-style noodles. - Maintaining production machinery as per machine guidance and CFIA regulations. - All other relevant tasks Job Requirements: - Secondary school diploma is required. - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent credential required. - 1 year experience as a production associate in food manufacturing is required. - 3 years of experience required as a production supervisor in a food manufacturing business. - Managing food production in accordance with CFIA and SFCR (HACCP) coordinators identify, evaluate, control and prevent hazards at all stages of the food production process.
