Job Description

Magnum Millwork Inc. is seeking experienced Finish Carpenters for permanent, full-time positions for new construction and renovations projects. Job Requirements: - 3 to 5 years of experience as a finish carpenter on commercial, residential, and institutional projects - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Able to perform the duties listed - WHMIS Certificate (training may be provided) - Steel-toed safety boots - Valid driver's licence Duties and Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements - Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials - Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems - Work in a millwork/prefabrication shop and perform on-site installation of cabinetry and architectural woodwork in residential and commercial settings - Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware - Supervise other workers - Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in hospitals and other establishments - Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and compliance with project specifications Working Conditions: - Day shifts, some night shifts - Overtime and weekend work may be required based on project requirements - Various job sites throughout the GTA/Golden Horseshoe and surrounding areas Language of Work: English Wage: $36.00 per hour?
