Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Wage: $31 per hour Hours: 30–40 hours per week Vacancies: 2 Language of Work: English Work Location: Winnipeg, Canada Place of work varies depending on the construction job site Job Description We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drywall Installer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, fitting, installing, and finishing drywall sheets in residential and/or commercial construction projects. The position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work safely and efficiently at job sites. Job Duties Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound Employment Requirements One year of previous experience as a construction worker is required Ability to measure, cut, and install drywall accurately. Ability to use hand tools and drywall installation equipment safely. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and working at construction sites. Basic English communication skills are required.
