Overview Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year On the road Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee. Work setting: Rural area Various locations Work in the employer's/client's home Willing to relocate Hospital or home for the aged Hospital/medical facility or clinic Rehabilitation centre and special health institution Group home Responsibilities Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort Perform other duties related to personal care Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments Bathe, dress and groom patients Transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving and sterilizing the operative areas Administer first aid in emergency situations Credentials: Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses First Aid Certificate Nursing Aide Certificate Benefits: Health benefits Dental plan Health care plan Vision care benefits Financial benefits: Night shift premium Other benefits Free parking available On-site amenities Team building opportunities Parking available
