Job Description

• Supervise and care for children in the employer’s residence, ensuring their safety and well-being. • Prepare and serve nutritious after-school snacks and meals • Support children’s emotional well-being and social development. • Assist with homework and support learning activities • Plan and organize age-appropriate activities • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment • Follow parents’ instructions regarding discipline and daily routines • Transport child to and from playdates and extracurricular activities • Perform light housekeeping related to childcare Education and Skills Requirements: • Secondary (high school) graduation certificate • 1 -2 years of experience in childcare or a related field is required • Formal training in childcare or early childhood education is considered an asset • First Aid and CPR certification is an asset. • References required • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Reliable, patient, and responsible
