Job Description
Brisk drywall ltd. Located at 70 Lakefront Rd, Unit 8, Dartmouth NS B2Y3C6 has immediate vacancies of 3 Acoustic tile and Drywall Installers. Positions are Full Time, Permanent, $30.10/hour. Applicants should have completed Secondary (high) school certificate. Must be able to lift 100 lbs. Must be able to work at heights, noisy and dusty environment. Must be able to handle heavy loads. Must have at least 1 year of related experience. Language of work will be English. Job duties involve: • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound • Install acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools Send resumes by email to briskdrywall27@gmail.com.
