Drywall Installer Company: AL KAMBOJ HOMES LTD. Location: Winnipeg, MB, R3W 1R2 Wage: $31.50/hour Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week) Vacancies: 2 Start Date: As soon as possible Employment Conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend Job Requirements: • Languages: English • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate • Experience: One year experience • Supervision Ability: 3-4 people • Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots Work Conditions: • Physically demanding, large workload • Repetitive tasks, tight deadlines • Hand-eye coordination • Standing for extended periods Personal Suitability: • Excellent oral communication • Flexibility • Team player Job Duties: • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets in residential and commercial settings • Tape joints using a taping machine and apply compound to embed tape • Fill gaps, nail holes, and imperfections with compound using trowel and broad knife • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect corners • Smooth out excess compound and allow it to dry properly • Work safely at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages • Supervise a small team of drywall workers as needed Additional Information: • Must be able to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs) • Work may take place on residential and commercial sites How to Apply: • By phone: 431-990-2185 (12:00 PM to 2:00 PM) • By mail: 1401 Ravelston Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3W 1R2 • In person: 1401 Ravelston Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3W 1R2 (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
