Job details • Location: 8463 Saddlebrook Drive NE, Calgary, AB, T3J 0R8 • Work location: On-site • Salary: $36.50 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week • Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full-time • Early morning, Evening, Morning, Day, Weekend • Starts as soon as possible • Vacancies: 2 vacancies Overview Languages English Education • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 3 years to less than 5 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment • Outdoors • Underground • At heights • Confined spaces • Odours Work setting • Various locations Responsibilities Tasks • Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted • Repair cracks and holes • Mix paint to desired colour and texture • Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls • Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging • Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces Experience and specialization Equipment and machinery experience • Airless spray equipment Surface preparation experience • Drywall taping/patching Coating/application specialization • Paint spraying Additional information Transportation/travel information • Own vehicle • Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities • Attention to detail • Hand-eye co-ordination • Ability to distinguish between colours • Bending, crouching, kneeling • Physically demanding Weight handling • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment • Tools Personal suitability • Client focus • Flexibility • Reliability • Team player Who can apply for this job?
