Language: English Education: Some Secondary School Education Benefits: • Ten business days of vacation • Emergency medical care • Relocation travel tickets • Providing guidelines and assistance in finding accommodation that costs less than $700 per month Major Requirements: • Minimum of two years of experience as an automotive engine assembler, including sedans, SUVs and trucks. This includes assembling rods and pistons, Gap piston rings, Lash valves, replacing valve springs and cutting valves, torquing head assembled parts to OEM specifications, measuring clearances, reaming and relocking, and assembling timing components. • Minimum of two years of experience in sport cars engines assembly. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities • Manual dexterity • Attention to detail • Bending, crouching, kneeling • Physically demanding • Handling heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Detailed Skills and Duties • Take guidelines and instructions from the automotive mechanics. • Assemble rods and pistons, Gap piston rings, Lash valves, replace valve springs and cut valves, torque head assembled parts to OEM specifications, measure clearances, re and re blocks, and assemble timing components. • Assemble prefabricated parts at work benches using screw guns and other hand and power tools • Test assembled motor vehicle • Bolt, screw, clip, weld, solder or otherwise fasten motor vehicle parts and components together. • Fasten parts together using bolting and riveting equipment or other fastening and joining techniques • Clean and maintain work space. • Clean parts before starting the assembly • Operate small cranes to transport or position automotive engines as required.
