About the Role We are seeking a compassionate Family Physician to join our new clinic in a full-time, permanent capacity. The ideal candidate is dedicated to patient-centered care, preventive health, and collaborative practice. In this role, you will diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions while supporting patients in making informed decisions about their health and wellness. Key Responsibilities Collect and assess medical information from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals Conduct comprehensive physical examinations to diagnose diseases, injuries, and chronic health conditions Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays and laboratory investigations Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, immunizations, and vaccinations Provide acute care management and coordinate ongoing primary patient care Offer counselling and health education on lifestyle, nutrition, and preventive care Support patients in developing healthy habits and reducing harmful behaviours Consult and collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers Act as a patient advocate, ensuring continuity of care and timely follow-up Report births, deaths, communicable diseases, and other required public-health information Provide emotional support, guidance, and counselling to patients and their families Position Details Number of Positions: 5 Salary Range: $350,000 – $500,000 annually Requirements Degree in Medicine (MD) or equivalent Certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) with provincial/territorial medical authorities Relevant experience is considered an asset Language of work English Location 9117 111 Avenue NW Suite 15 Edmonton, AB T5B 0C3 How to apply Please send your resume and cover letter to idresspanhwer01@gmail.com
