Company Operating Name: Ban Bu Xian Szechuan Cuisine Business Address: 3665 Kingsway #110, Vancouver, BC V5R 5W2 Job Position Title: Cook (NOC 63200) Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week Wage: $20-$22/Hour Location: Vancouver, BC Language of Work: English Vacancy: 2 Job Duties and Responsibilities – Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes according to established recipes and standards. – Prepare special meals as required, including dishes for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. – Assist with menu preparation by determining food portion sizes and estimating food requirements. – Monitor food supplies and assist with ordering ingredients as needed. – Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and kitchen equipment. – Ensure a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment by cleaning the kitchen and work areas and properly storing food and equipment. – Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely meal service. – Assist in training kitchen helpers on basic food preparation and safe food handling procedures. – Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health regulations at all times.
