Accommodations available upon request. Tim Hortons is looking for a Food Service Manager who can efficiently manage the daily operations of our location in Ashern, Manitoba. Main Duties include: • Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the operations of Tim Hortons Ashern location • Monitor costs to maximize profits and manage payroll • Coordinating and scheduling the activities of Shift Supervisors and Team Members who prepare, portion and serve food and beverages • Preparing and implementing operational procedures (within franchise guidelines) and communicating procedures to Shift Supervisors and Team Members • Supervising 5 to 10 Team Members, including Front Counter Attendants, Bakers and Shift Supervisors • Assisting with recruiting new staff and training/management of Team Members • Creating schedules, supporting development, and ensuring shift coverage • Monitoring performance of Team Members and providing constructive feedback on performance • Managing inventory, supplies, maintenance, cleanliness, and store presentation • Ensuring Always Fresh standards and waste control are met • Tracking sales, updating POS, and managing budgets • Conducting inspections, managing hazards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies • Enforcing safety regulations, safe work practices, and PPE use • Negotiating arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies • Maintaining open communication, handling discipline, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations • Leading team toward goals through coaching, motivation, and alignment with company values • Addressing customer’s complaints or concerns, when Team Members are unable to resolve • Managing guest experiences, preparing reports, and engaging with the community Employment Requirements: • Completion of Secondary School • 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience required; management experience is an asset • Food service industry experience (preferred) • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (preferred) • Safe Food Handling certificate (preferred) • Food Safety Certificate (preferred) • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, train, and mentor staff • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills • Effective in problem-solving, organization, time management, and resource planning to maintain service standards • Professional demeanor when interacting with customers, team members, and suppliers • Proficient with POS systems and electronic cash registers • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food service industry • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Familiar with Microsoft Office • This position could include a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends How to Apply: Use Job Bank’s Direct Apply feature, or email your resume and cover letter to: neighbourlyashern@gmail.com No phone calls please.
