Job Description
A. J. Transmissions and Automotive Repairs Ltd. is located in North Vancouver BC. We provide transmission and automotive repair services, specializing in North American domestic and Japanese Import cars, trucks and utility vehicles. We are looking for a full time Automotive Service Technician at our shop as soon as possible. Responsibilities • Perform scheduled maintenance and test automotive systems and components as well as servicing fuel and emissions systems • Diagnose and repair vehicle engines, electrical systems and transmission • Remove, reinstall, replace automatic & standard transmissions, front & rear suspension, brake, steering and other parts • Provide timely and accurate technical advice of vehicle repairs and maintenance • Identify problems with vehicles using the hand tools and specialized equipment • Ensure shop safety and cleanliness Qualification • Completion of secondary school • Completion of automotive courses or apprenticeship program • Minimum three years experience and be familiar with working on North American domestic and Japanese Import vehicles. • Be familiar with Mitchell on Demand and Snap On diagnostic equipment.
