Job Description
Royal Curry Restaurant & Sweets LTD a popular Indian restaurant located at 12588 72 Ave Surrey BC V3W 2M6, has vacancy for 1 Cook. Position is Full time/Permanent, 30 hrs/week, $36.65 /hr. Language of work will be English. Job duties involve: • Determine the size of food portions and costs • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances • Inspect kitchens and food service areas • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food • Order supplies and equipment • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment • Clean kitchen and work areas • Organize buffets and banquets • Manage kitchen operations Applicant must have completed high school with several years of experience in commercial cooking or have a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking.
