Job Description: Carpenter Salary: $36.00 /hour Vacancies: 2 Terms of employment: Permanent employment Full time: 40 hours / week Start date: As soon as possible Employment conditions: Day Employer: WIH Construction Inc Business Address and Job location: 13231 – 72 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T5C 0R1 Job Requirements: Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 3 years to less than 5 years On the road Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee. Work setting Various locations Responsibilities Tasks Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Handling heavy loads Physically demanding How to apply: By email: wihconsjobs@gmail.com
