Job Description
I am seeking a dedicated and compassionate live-in caregiver with experience or training in caring for elderly male with dementia and mobility challenges. This role requires the caregiver to reside on-site. Room and board will be provided. The caregiver must also be available on an on-call basis beyond regular working hours. Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience 1 to less than 7 months Responsibilities/Tasks Administer bedside and personal care Administer medications Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene Feed or assist in feeding Launder clothing and household linens Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Provide companionship Shop for food and household supplies Prepare and serve nutritious meals Cook Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher Change diapers Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses CPR Certificate First Aid Certificate Experience and specialization Target audience Elderly Males Persons with a disability Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Weight handling Between 61 and 80 kg (133-176 lbs) Personal suitability Client focus Dependability Flexibility Judgement Reliability Patience Honesty
