Job Description
I am looking for a compassionate live in caregiver with experience or training in caring for elderly individuals with dementia. This role requires the caregiver to reside on-site and be available on an on-call basis beyond regular working hours. Room and board will be provided. Languages : English Education • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate • or equivalent experience Experience 1 to less than 7 months Responsibilities/Tasks • Administer bedside and personal care • Administer medications • Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk • Assist in bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene • Feed or assist in feeding • Launder clothing and household linens • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties • Provide companionship • Prepare and serve nutritious meals • Cook • Perform other duties related to personal care Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses • CPR Certificate • First Aid Certificate Experience and specialization Target audience • Male • Elderly • Persons with a disability Additional information Security and safety • Criminal record check • Reference required Weight handling • Between 61 and 80 kg (133-176 lbs)
