Job Description
We are seeking for a dedicated and compassionate live-in caregiver with experience or training in caring for elderly individuals with disabilities particularly with advanced dementia. This role requires the caregiver to reside on-site and be available on an on-call basis beyond regular working hours. Room and board will be provided. Education required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience required: 1 to less than 7 months Responsibilities/Tasks Administer bedside and personal care Administer medications Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk Assist in bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene Feed or assist in feeding Launder clothing and household linens Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Provide companionship Prepare and serve nutritious meals Cook Perform other duties related to personal care Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses CPR Certificate First Aid Certificate Experience and specialization Target audience Elderly Persons with a disability Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Weight handling Between 61 and 80 kg (133-176 lbs) Personal suitability Client focus Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Flexibility Initiative Organized Reliability Patience Honesty
