COBS Bread is a bakery franchise specializing in freshly baked bread, pastries, and other baked goods, made from scratch daily. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our COBS Bread team at the Trenant Park Location (in Ladner, BC). Position: Retail Bakery Sales Manager (NOC 60020) Number of Positions: 1 Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent Educational Requirements:? - Completion of secondary school Job Requirements: - At least 3 years of experience in retail or wholesale in a bakery or similar setting, including: - at least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience - commercial baking experience or strong knowledge of bakery operations - experience in retail or wholesale sales - Strong leadership, management, and sales abilities with a high level of accountability - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Proficiency in using computer and related software Language Requirements: English Start date: ASAP Wage: $42~45/hour Hours: 35-40 hours per week, including weekends and early morning Benefits: - 4% vacation pay - Group insurance benefits (including extended medical) - Staff discount - Parking available at the location Job Duties: - Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of retail and wholesale bakery sales - Manage bakery staff, assign duties, and train team members - Study bakery market trends and customer preferences to determine product demand and potential sales volumes - Determine bakery products to be sold and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets while minimizing product waste - Negotiate with vendors and maintain strong business relationships - Develop and implement promotional and merchandising strategies to increase sales - Plan budgets for bakery operations, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues and costs - Evaluate and enhance customer service, resolve customer issues, and maintain high standards of product quality - Oversee staffing requirements, including hiring, scheduling and staff retention Work Location: 5219 Ladner Trunk Road, Delta, BC V4K 1W4 Company Information: COBS Bread (Trenant Park Bakery location) How to apply: Send your resume and cover letter by email to: hr.rbk.retailsalesmanager@outlook.com Note: - If you don't meet qualifications exactly but believe you have the required skills, please submit your résumé for consideration. - Please confirm in your resume or cover letter that you are legally authorized to work in Canada.
