Gobong 88 in Burnaby, BC is currently looking for a qualified Restaurant Assistant Manager. Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager Positions Available: 1 Wage: C$36.60~C$37.00/hour (depending on a skill set) Types: Full-time, Permanent Working hours: 30.00 hours/week Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary for vacation pay Business Location: 9928 Lougheed Hwy., Burnaby, BC V3J 1N3 Job Duties: - Assist the owner/restaurant manager in overseeing daily operations, developing the restaurant team and analyzing budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits - Implement company polices and operational procedures - Train and motivate staff to ensure excellent food service and high customer satisfaction - Assist in recruiting, scheduling and overseeing staff performance - Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies - Monitor inventory of food, beverages and supplies, and place orders as needed - Review customer feedback and address customer issues professionally - Ensure staff compliance with health and safety regulations Job requirements: - Completion of secondary school is required. - A minimum of 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including experience in a supervisory role, is required. - The Serving It Right certificate is required. - Leadership, excellent interpersonal communication skills and customer service skills are required. - Language of work: English How to Apply If you are interested in the position, please submit your resume by e-mail. -E-mail Address: gobong88.hr@gmail.com Gobong 88 (Ttobagi Food 1489 Ltd.)
