Akari Japanese Restaurant is seeking a qualified Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager Number of Positions: 1 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hourly Wage: C$36.60~C$37.00 Working Hours: 30 hours per week Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary for vacation pay Work Location: Delta, BC Qualifications: - Completion of secondary school is required. - A minimum of 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including experience in a supervisory role, is required. - The valid Serving It Right certificate is required. - Leadership, excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills are required. - Language of Work: English Job Duties: - Assist the restaurant manager in overseeing daily operations, analyzing budget and ensuring customer service excellence and the restaurant’s profits - Supervise and train staff - Monitor staff performance - Implement company policies and operational procedures - Handle inventory, order supplies and minimize waste - Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies - Assist in recruiting and scheduling, and maintain strong collaboration between front-of-house and back-of-house teams - Ensure staff compliance with service standards, and health and safety regulations - Review customer feedback and address any customer concerns professionally How to Apply: Please send your resume via email at akari.hire@gmail.com if you are interested.
