Hansol Korean Restaurant in Coquitlam, BC is looking for a qualified Chef to join our team. Job Position: Chef (Permanent) Positions Available: 1 Hourly Wage: C$29.00 ~ C$37.00 (depending on a skill set) Working Hours: 30-35 hours per week Vacation: 4% of gross salary for vacation pay or 10 days paid vacation per year Address & Work Location: #401-1194 Lansdowne Drive, Coquitlam, BC Job Duties: - Prepare and make Korean dishes from menu, such as Bibimbap, Japchae, Bulgogi, tofu soup, etc. - Supervise works of cooks and other kitchen staff - Make adjustment to food items to accommodate customers with dietary restrictions - Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food - Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food - Demonstrate new cooking techniques to cooks - Create new recipes - Maintain records of food consumption, sales and inventory - Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards Job Requirements: - Education: Completion of secondary school - Experience: A minimum of 3 years of commercial cooking experience - Language: English How to Apply: Please send us your resume by email at hansolkorean.hr@gmail.com.
