Job Duties (in line with NOC 12013) Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials. Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other departments. Resolve work-related issues and prepare and submit progress reports and other relevant documents. Train workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies. Ensure the smooth operation of equipment and machinery, and arrange for necessary maintenance and repair work. Order supplies and materials as required. Monitor inventory levels and verify shipment contents against purchase orders and invoices. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures. Requirements Completion of secondary school is required; post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, or related field is an asset. Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and supply chain processes. Ability to manage a team effectively and ensure productivity targets are met. Proficiency with warehouse software and Microsoft Office Suite. Good communication and organizational skills. Employment Conditions Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends if required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as part of supervising shipping and receiving operations.
