Job Description
Black River Logistics is looking to hire long haul truck driver who can fulfill the below criteria: Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: Will train Permanent Employment: 40-50 hours per week Wage: $30.50 per hour Vacancies: 8 positions Tasks Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy Load and unload goods Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Required License: Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Experience and specialization: Accident or incident reports Driver logbook Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Maintenance and repair reports Trip reports Interested candidates may apply directly via email at info@blackriverlogistics.com
