Title: Concrete Finisher (NOC 73100) Employer: Oil City Ready Mix Ltd. Employer Business Address: 507 15 Avenue, Nisku, AB, T9E7M6 Salary: $65,520 annually / 35 hours per week Vacancies: 1 position Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time Start date: As soon as possible Job requirements Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Tasks: • Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade. • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement. • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete. • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification. • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools. • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures. • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces. • Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces. • Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures. • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
