Job Title: Drywall Installer (NOC- 73102) Employer: AKAL DRYWALL & CONTRACTING LTD. Employer Business Address: 4, 9836-47 AVENUE NW, Edmonton, AB, T6E 5P3 Salary: $65,520 annually / 35.00 hours per week Vacancies: 3 positions Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time Start date: As soon as possible Job requirements Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Tasks • Clean and prepare surfaces • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists • Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outlets • Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities • Bending, crouching, kneeling • Hand-eye co-ordination • Physically demanding Weight handling • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Who can apply for this job?
