Job details • Location: 340 Huntmar Dr, Kanata, ON, K2T 0R8 • Workplace information On site • Salary: 19.00 hourly / 30 to 44 hours per week • Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time • Day, Evening, Morning • Starts as soon as possible • Vacancies: 1 vacancy Overview Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 1 to less than 7 months On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort Responsibilities Tasks • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors • Dust furniture • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture • Make beds and change sheets • Distribute clean towels and toiletries • Stock linen closet • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances • Handle and report lost and found items • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items • Provide basic information on facilities • Pick up debris and empty trash containers • Launder clothing and household linens • Mend clothing and linens • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties • Clean changing rooms and showers • Address customers' complaints or concerns • Perform security checks of passengers and luggage • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities • Ability to work independently • Physically demanding • Overtime required Personal suitability • Dependability • Flexibility • Organized Who can apply for this job?
