Landscaping Supervisor Posted by Tom & Maria Contracting Ltd Job details Various locations On site $35.70 hourly / 40 hours per Week Permanent employment/Full time Day, Early Morning, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, On Call, Overtime, Weekend Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Financial benefits 1 vacancy Job Bank # 3235860 Overview Languages: English Education: College/CEGEP Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years On site : Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Tasks Direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns Hire, supervise and schedule staff Organize planting of trees, gardens and lawns Schedule work Plan and direct grounds maintenance Plan and estimate labour and materials Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work Maintain work records and logs Tender and administer contracts Read blueprints and drawings Repair and maintain equipment Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Assist in preparing annual budgets Recommend measures to improve productivity Prepare budget and cost estimates Train staff Snow removal (please note this task is not mentioned in the Job Bank ad due to a technical impossibility) Additional information Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Personal suitability Client focus Initiative Judgement Team player Benefits Financial benefits Gasoline paid Mileage paid Who can apply to this job?
