Tilesetter Posted by ZWM Renovations and Construction Services Job details • Location : 23 Prince Edward Street, Brighton, ON, K0K 1H0 • Salary : C $ 32.75 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per Week • Terms of Employment : Permanent Employment, Full time • Start date : Starts as soon as possible • Vacancies : 2 Vacancies Languages : English Education • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate • or equivalent experience Experience : 1 to less than 7 months Responsibilities • Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered • Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel • Prepare rough plans and sketches • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base • Align and straighten tiles • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles • Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite • Install tile strips Benefits : Learning/training paid by employer The employer accepts applications from: • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary residents of Canada. • Other candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.
