Location: Vernon, BC Wage: $52-$55(to be negotiable) Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience: minimum of one year Job Description: The applicant must have knowledge of how to prescribe pharmaceuticals, deliver them, and counsel and educate patients on how to use their prescriptions properly. Job Requirements: 1. A bachelor of science degree in pharmacy is required. 2. Pharmacists also require practical training under the supervision of a pharmacist. 3. Pharmacists Licensure is mandatory. Job Duties: 1. Must have strong communication skills and ability to console and advice the patients about their dosage and medications 2. Have knowledge of computer basics and mathematical skills. 3. Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other health care professionals and advise them on indications, contra-indications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage 4. Ensure proper packaging and storage of vaccines, medicines, serums, biologicals and other drugs and pharmaceuticals. 5. Timely renewal of existing prescriptions and advising on selection and use of non-prescription medication. 6. Must have Analytical, problem-solving, leadership and decision-making skills. 7. Participate in the research of new drugs and test them for stability. 8. Make a list of the drugs and their uses , properties and possible side-effects 9.
